Telure Standard 2026.1

The Telure Standard for a trampoline & tumbling floor

A versioned, Telure-curated program of checks for a trampoline & tumbling floor, written in Telure’s own words and organized by how the facility actually runs: the daily rhythm first, then the recurring program above it. It is a documented reference the facility measures its own work against and records reasons against, not a certification. The basis register below shows what informs it, and at what depth.

USA Gymnastics-informed alignment tracker

Inside Telure, this list is an alignment tracker a facility turns on with a checkbox. The recurring program below is its clause list, informed by USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Policy and Member Club obligations. The facility matches its own tasks, checklist items and training items to the clauses they cover, marks the clauses that do not apply with a written reason, and its exports state what share of the rest has a check behind it.

This tracker is Telure's own clause list, informed by the organization's published document. It does not replace reading that document yourself and verifying your facility against it, and marking a clause here is a note on your own record, not a statement by that organization. Where equipment is involved, the manufacturer's documentation governs.

The daily rhythm

Opening walk

Walked before the doors open, item by item, each answer attributed to the person who gave it. The starting set for a trampoline & tumbling floor:

  • End decks in place at both ends of every open frame
  • Spotting mats staged at coach stations: full coverage
  • Trampoline beds clear: no rips, loose stitching, or sag
  • Frame pads seated: no exposed cables, springs, or steel
  • Tumble track at listed air pressure: record the reading
  • Rod floor surface tight: no ridges or exposed rod ends
  • Landing mats positioned with no gaps or velcro separation
  • Pit foam at the fill line, entry edge pads secure
  • Landing zones and walkways clear of loose equipment
  • First aid kit stocked; emergency contacts posted

During hours

Anything flagged during the day opens a corrective entry on the spot: the item, the finding, and who saw it. Taking equipment or an area out of service is a recorded event with a name attached, and so is returning it. Nothing waits for the end of the shift to become a record.

Closing check

The end-of-day counterpart every facility runs: securing the space and making sure nothing the day surfaced dies overnight.

  • Activity areas clear: no members left inside
  • Hazards cleared from floors and landing surfaces
  • Equipment secured, stowed, or powered down per procedure
  • Today's flagged items have maintenance entries opened
  • First aid and rescue equipment restocked if used today
  • Exits clear; doors, gates and access points secured

The recurring program

The work above the daily walk. Each task surfaces on the day it is due and escalates as it goes overdue. Where a check addresses a published designation, the citation chip names it; a chip is a reference, never a compliance claim.

Weekly

  • Competition frame walk · bed, cables & springs

Walk every competition frame: bed fabric and stitching, cable and spring stretch, hook seating, shackle and leg-brace hardware. Record any component swap against the frame it came off. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

    addressing ASTM F2970
  • End deck & spotting mat inspection

Check every end deck and spotting mat: cover condition, core firmness, hook-and-loop grip, and position against the coverage plan. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

  • Rod floor & tumble track condition check

Verify tumble track operating pressure and record the reading; walk the rod floor for ridges, soft spots, and carpet seam separation. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

  • Pit depth measurement & edge check

Measure foam depth at the entry edge and corners against the fill line, and check edge pads for gaps at the lip. Record the numbers, not a pass mark. Depth trends are the case for foam replacement. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

Monthly

  • Frame setup & tension verification

Verify each frame's setup: leg braces locked, cables tensioned evenly side to side, bed square in the frame, floor plates seated. Repeat and record this check after any transport, fold-down, or reconfiguration. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

  • Pit foam rotation & compacted-block cull

Turn the pit foam bottom to top, pull compacted and torn blocks, and log how many came out and how many went in. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

  • Rod floor & tumble track condition check

Walk the rod floor and tumble track: air pressure where applicable, seams, bed state, and edge attachment, with the readings in the note. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

Quarterly

  • Coach credential & background-check review

Review every active coach's credential, safety-training, and background-check dates in one sitting; open a corrective item for anything expiring before the next review. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

addressing USA Gymnastics member club obligations

Every 6 months

  • Spotting & landing-drill training review

Run the spotting and landing-drill refresher with all coaching staff and record who attended; schedule make-ups for anyone who missed. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

Yearly

  • Annual full-equipment inspection (qualified person)

Full inspection of frames, decks, matting, rod floor, tumble track, and pit by a qualified person; file the report against this task and open corrective items for anything cited. Part of the Telure Standard: the manufacturer's manual governs all equipment intervals.

The manufacturer’s documentation governs

Where a manufacturer's documentation sets an inspection type or an interval for a piece of equipment, that documentation governs. The pack's cadences are a program to build on, not a replacement: when the two differ, Telure shows the difference so it can be seen and documented, and the recorded schedule follows the manufacturer.
