The basics

What is Telure?

A system of record for the work that keeps movement facilities safe (climbing gyms, trampoline parks, waterparks, skateparks, ice rinks, and every other place people climb, jump, ride and fall): daily checks walked with a phone, recurring maintenance that escalates instead of slipping, recall monitoring against your registered equipment, a training board that says who is signed off on what, and incident documentation that freezes history the moment it matters. Everything lands in one tamper-evident ledger.

What does it cost?

Pricing is per Standard pack. Your first pack sets the monthly number, each additional pack on the same site adds $99, and the building core is included with every configuration at no charge. Every price includes every module, unlimited staff, and unlimited exports. Nothing is metered or upsold. Annual billing saves 20%, and the exact price is shown the moment you pick your packs on the landing page or at signup. The trial is 30 days with everything included and no card to start. Nothing is charged unless you add one. Add billing before day 30 in Settings → Billing to keep recording after that; without it new entries pause, and your records stay readable and exportable.

Can I see it before signing up?

Yes: the demo opens a fictional facility of your own type (every facility type has one) seeded with realistic records, read-only, no account needed. You can even run the QR mobile check flow; the only thing the demo won’t do is record to the permanent ledger.

Does Telure certify that my facility or equipment is safe?

No, and it never claims to. Telure records what your qualified staff observed and when. It doesn't perform inspections, doesn't determine that anything is safe or compliant, and never replaces the manufacturer's documentation, which governs all equipment intervals.

The record

Can a record be edited or deleted?

No: by anyone, at any permission level, including Telure's own support. That constraint is enforced at the database level. Corrections are made as new amendment entries that reference the original; the original stays visible, and the full amendment history appears in the interface and in exports.

What does tamper-evident actually mean?

That any after-the-fact change to the record is detectable, not just forbidden. Every entry is written to an append-only ledger with a SHA-256 hash chained to the entry before it, so altering, inserting, or removing anything in history breaks every hash after it, and recomputing the chain exposes exactly where. Corrections are visible amendments, server timestamps are authoritative, and exports are registered so any recipient can verify them independently. The full published spec, including the exact hash recipe, is here.

What if a check gets skipped?

The gap shows. Exports display periods with no recorded activity as gaps rather than hiding them. An honest record is the whole point, and a clean month means more when a missed Saturday would have shown.

Does it work offline?

Capture does. Checks recorded while a device is offline sync when the connection returns, and the record keeps both timestamps (when the observation was captured and when it reached the server) so an offline gap is visible rather than hidden.

What do I hand my insurer?

A dated, paginated PDF export for any period: gaps reported explicitly, amendment history included, per-item attribution shown, integrity verification and your practice-pack status printed on the cover.

What happens to my records if I cancel?

They stay viewable and exportable for at least 12 months after cancellation, and that commitment is written into our terms. A complete export is one click away at any time, before, during, and after that decision, starting on your first day. Telure is designed so leaving never means losing your history, but export discipline is yours: keep your own copies.

What happens to my records if Telure shuts down?

The honest answer for any young vendor: plan on your exports, not on our continuity. A complete export is one click from day one, and every export is a self-contained PDF on your own disk with the full record printed in it: entries, per-item attribution, timestamps, and amendment history. Nothing in the file needs our servers to be read. Our terms also commit us to at least 90 days’ written notice before discontinuing the service, with export available throughout the notice period and the retention period after it. We do not claim an escrow arrangement, because none exists; the durable copy is the one you hold, so export regularly.

Day to day

How do you track who is trained on what?

One board: people down the side, the topics you train on across the top, and a ring in each cell showing how far along somebody is. You define the topics, so it fits whatever you actually run, from belay checks to lifeguard in-services to a new-hire orientation. A colleague signs off each item as they watch it done, or a whole topic is recorded for several people at once after a drill. Renewals count down from the date the work was completed, and expiring shows up 30 days out rather than on the day it lapses. Anyone a topic does not apply to is marked so, instead of sitting in the list looking overdue. Every sign-off is a dated ledger entry naming who certified whom, which matters because training records are among the first documents asked for after an incident.

How does front-desk mode work?

A shared station display stays signed in for viewing schedules and task lists, but it can't record anything by itself. Whoever does the work enters their own PIN, the entry is attributed to them, and the authorization expires on its own just under an hour later. Shift changes without password juggling; attribution without shared accounts.

Do my staff need email addresses?

Only managers: email is how they sign in. Staff-tier roles are PIN-only by default; during setup you decide, role by role, whether a role keeps an email on file for task reminders.

Can staff fill out checks on their phones?

Yes. Starting a check shows a QR code; staff scan it, enter their PIN on their phone, and fill items as they walk the facility: several people at once, live, with every answer attributed to whoever gave it.

Can different roles have their own checks?

Yes: role checklists. Routesetters get their holds-drills-and-ladders walk-through, court monitors their bed-and-pad walk, coaches their training-gear count, each with its own card on Today and its own daily status. Create them in Settings → Checklists.

Practices and recalls

What is the Telure Standard?

A list of clauses for each pack you run, written by Telure and informed by the organization whose published document covers that type (the CWA's sourcebook for climbing, ASTM F2970 for trampoline parks, and so on). It works as an alignment tracker: turn it on with a checkbox, and as you write your own tasks, checklist items and training items you match each one to the clause it covers. Settings shows what share of the clauses has a check behind it. Turning it on adds no tasks, and it does not replace reading the organization's own document and verifying your facility yourself. It is not a certification, an industry standard, or a compliance claim.

What if a clause doesn't apply to my facility?

Mark it not applicable in Settings, with a written reason. A facility with no rental fleet marks the rental clause and says why; the reason is attributed to whoever made the call, recorded on the ledger permanently, and printed beside the alignment figure on every export. The clause leaves both sides of the figure. Insurers see exactly where you stand, which is worth more than an unexplained gap.

How does recall monitoring work?

Telure polls public recall data daily and compares published serial ranges and model names against equipment you've registered, flagging matches for review. It also shows every movement-facility equipment notice it has ingested, whether or not it matches your registry. It is not a substitute for registering equipment with manufacturers and monitoring their notices directly.
