The season-opening walk, out of the filing cabinet
One operator, a dozen hazard areas, and a staff that is new every June. Telure turns the season-opening packet, the nightly cabin round, and every activity area's gear into one attributed, tamper-evident record you can produce by area and by date.
The demo is a full fictional facility, Camp Ninebark, with a year of records. No account needed.
Day to day
The season-opening paper packet stops being a filing-cabinet problem: the property walk splits across your leadership team by QR, each area's items file themselves as they are tapped, and retire-by dates on tower harnesses and ropes surface before the season rather than after it. The certification spreadsheet you rebuild every June becomes a board with countdowns already running on it.
When a claim surfaces
One signature at the end of a night, covering a whole cabin line, is thin evidence. Telure records each cabin round, headcount, waterfront set-up and tower gear check as its own timestamped item with the counselor's name on it, on an append-only, hash-chained ledger where corrections appear as visible amendments beside the original rather than as quiet edits. When most of the people on your property are minors, that is the record the question lands on.
At renewal
At renewal, instead of describing your season, hand over a dated export of it: the opening property walk, ten weeks of area checks, tower and course PPE by serial, incidents with their history frozen at filing, and the off-season declared as closed rather than left looking like a gap. Integrity is checkable by anyone at floorkept.com/verify, and a documented program like that can factor favorably into underwriting.
What you get, running a youth camp
Cabin and area rounds that can't be batch-signed
Nightly and shift-change checks land item by item: this cabin's screens, this cabin's egress path, this headcount, each with a name and a time on it. A QR hands the round to any counselor's phone and a PIN identifies them, so there are no shared logins and no single signature covering a whole night.
Every activity area's gear on one register
Harnesses, helmets, lanyards, ropes, auto belays, rescue kits, canoes, PFDs, the archery backstop, the bus: each with a serial, an in-service date, the manufacturer's retire-by date, and its own service intervals. Retirement deadlines become dates you see coming instead of notes discovered a season too late.
A brand-new roster every June, current and provable
People down one side, topics across the top: lifeguard and first aid cards, facilitator sign-offs, driver checks, background check on file, and every orientation topic a new hire has to have before campers arrive. A colleague signs off each item as they watch it done, renewals count down from the date completed, anyone a topic does not apply to is marked so, and expiring shows up 30 days out rather than on the day it lapses.
Failed checks open loops that close
A flagged item becomes an open corrective action with a photo, an owner, and a resolution note linked back to the original ledger entry. Taking a canoe or an element out of service and putting it back are both recorded events with names on them, so nothing gets fixed off the record.
The off-season reads as closed, not missing
A camp that runs ten weeks a year would otherwise look like a ledger full of holes. Declare the closed weeks with a reason and the gap report cross-references them, so a quiet February reads as a decision instead of a lapse, and rain days and program cancellations do the same.
Records that cannot be quietly edited
Entries are immutable once submitted (enforced by the database, not by policy) and hash-chained so alteration is detectable. Corrections happen as visible amendments with stated reasons. That is the difference between an editable checklist and evidence.
An incident freezes the area's history
Logging an incident writes a hash-locked snapshot of the prior 90 days of inspection history for that area into the incident itself: exactly which checks existed at that moment, provable years after the summer everyone involved has moved on from.
Recall notices matched to your own gear
Public recall data is polled daily and compared against your registered harnesses, helmets, PFDs, and bunk hardware, serial ranges included. A match opens a documented response flow instead of a bulletin that reached an inbox nobody watches in the off-season.
An export a board, an insurer, or a family's lawyer can verify
A dated, paginated PDF for any area and any period: adherence and gaps reported explicitly, per-item attribution shown, closures cross-referenced, and an integrity digest anyone can check at floorkept.com/verify.
The Telure Standards for a youth camp
A Telure-curated list of recurring inspections and reviews. In the product it works as an alignment tracker: you turn it on, match the work you already run to the clauses it covers, and record a reason for any clause that does not apply here. Turning it on adds no tasks, and it is not a certification. The manufacturer’s manual governs all equipment intervals.
