Binding tests you can find at claim time

The binding function test is the rental industry's own liability practice, and at most mountains it lives on paper cards that are unsearchable the day a claim letter arrives. Telure gives the rental bench, the terrain park, and the patrol handoff the same attributed, tamper-evident record your lift program already has.

The demo is a full fictional facility, Black Spruce Mountain Resort, with a year of records. No account needed.

Day to day

The binding-test card drawer disappears: every function test is recorded against the unit's serial as it's run at the bench, and the audit that used to mean an afternoon of flipping cards becomes a search. Patrol and mountain-ops handoffs land in one ledger instead of being reassembled from paper logs and radio recollection.

When a claim surfaces

When a claim letter names a rental unit, you produce its test history (the values, the dates, the technician, and the calibration record of the bench device behind every number) in an append-only, hash-chained ledger where corrections appear as visible amendments. The same holds in the park: who walked which line after the storm cycle, per item, per person.

At renewal

At renewal you show a dated, paginated export of the rental bench, the park walks, and patrol readiness (attribution shown, closures cross-referenced, gaps reported honestly), verifiable at floorkept.com/verify. A record like that can factor favorably into underwriting in a way an assurance about the card drawer never will.

What you get, running a ski area

Calibration devices with their own paper trail

Register each bench test device with its serial and calibration interval. Verifications and certificates are dated events on the device's record, so the chain from calibrated device to individual test actually holds together.

Park checks that survive shift changes

Feature walks are per-item and per-person: who checked which takeoff, rail, and landing, and when, including the re-walk after weather. No more guessing which shift covered the lower line after a storm cycle.

Handoffs out of the radio, into the ledger

Patrol and mountain-ops handoff notes become timestamped, attributed ledger entries instead of fragments spread across paper logs and radio traffic, one continuous record that exports cleanly.

Your lift program stays where it is

Lift maintenance already runs under a regulated program with purpose-built tooling. Telure doesn't touch it. It covers the records around it: the rental bench, the park, patrol caches, and the daily walks nothing else captures.

Closures and reopenings with names attached

Roping off a feature or a line is a recorded event: who closed it, why, and who authorized reopening. Declared closure days are cross-referenced by the gap report, so a dark day reads as a decision, not a lapse.

Recalls checked against the rental wall

Public recall data is polled daily against your registered fleet and bench devices, serial ranges included. A match opens a documented response flow instead of a bulletin pinned up in the back shop.

Records that cannot be quietly edited

Entries are immutable once submitted (enforced by the database, not policy) and hash-chained so any alteration is detectable. Corrections appear as visible amendments. That is what turns a checklist into evidence.

The claim packet, on demand

A dated, paginated PDF for any period and any area: per-item attribution shown, closures cross-referenced, gaps reported explicitly, and an integrity digest anyone can check at floorkept.com/verify.

Patrol and lift crew currency on one board

Certifications, refreshers and evacuation drills sit on one board: people down the side, topics across the top. A colleague signs off each item as they watch it done, renewals count down from the date it was completed, and anyone a topic does not apply to is marked so. Expiring shows up 30 days out, not on the day it lapses.

The Telure Standards for a ski area

A Telure-curated list of recurring inspections and reviews. In the product it works as an alignment tracker: you turn it on, match the work you already run to the clauses it covers, and record a reason for any clause that does not apply here. Turning it on adds no tasks, and it is not a certification. The manufacturer’s manual governs all equipment intervals.
