A sanitation record that answers the skin-infection question

Mat sanitation is a martial arts school's skin-infection defense, and in most clubs it happens nightly with no record of agent, dilution, dwell time, or person. Telure turns that mop-down (and every seam, wall-pad, and bag-mount check) into an attributed, timestamped, tamper-evident record.

The demo is a full fictional facility, Bluegrass Ridge Martial Arts Academy, with a year of records. No account needed.

Day to day

The closing sheet, one initial covering a whole night of mopping, disappears. The nightly mop-down runs from any phone via a QR, staff sign each item with a PIN, and the agent, dilution, and dwell time land on the record in the seconds it takes to tap them in. Instructor certification and background-check review becomes a quarterly task that reminds you before anything lapses, not after a parent asks.

When a claim surfaces

When the skin-infection question comes, "we mop every night" is not a defense. Agent, dilution, dwell time, who, and when are. Your record captures all five for every mop-down, timestamped and attributed per item, on an append-only, hash-chained ledger where corrections appear as visible amendments. In a school where nearly every student is a minor, that is the difference between a checklist and evidence.

At renewal

At renewal you put down a dated, verifiable export (months of sanitation entries with agents and dwell times, seam walks, mount inspections, and credential reviews, with gaps reported explicitly) instead of assurances that the mopping happens. A documented sanitation and inspection program can factor favorably into underwriting.

What you get, running a martial arts studio

No more one-signature-covers-everything

Each check item is timestamped the moment it's tapped, by the person who tapped it, never one initial over a whole closing sheet. A QR hands the walk to any phone, staff identify with a PIN, and two people can split the rooms and watch answers fill in live.

Seams, subfloors, pads, and mounts on a real cadence

Weekly seam walks, wall-pad and bag-mount inspections, and monthly subfloor checks run as recurring tasks with assignees, email reminders, and overdue escalation. A failed item becomes a flag with a photo, then an open corrective action, then a resolved one, linked to the ledger the whole way.

Credential and background-check review that won't slip

With a roster that's mostly minors, an expired background check is a problem you find out about at the worst possible moment. A recurring review task with reminders puts every instructor's certification and background-check dates in front of you on a schedule, before they lapse, not after a parent asks.

Every mat section, wall pad, and bag on the registry

Register mat sections, wall pads, bags, and mounts with manufacturer, serial, install date, and retire-by date. Out-of-service calls and returns to service are attributed, dated events, so a pad's whole life is one record, not a memory.

Records that cannot be quietly edited

Entries are immutable once submitted (enforced by the database, not policy) and hash-chained so alteration is detectable. Corrections appear as visible amendments beside the original. When nearly every student is a minor, that is the difference between a checklist app and evidence.

An incident freezes its history

Logging an incident writes a hash-locked snapshot of the prior sanitation and inspection history for that room into the incident itself: exactly which records existed at that moment, provable years later.

The export a parent's attorney can verify

A dated, paginated PDF for any period: sanitation entries with agents and dwell times, per-item attribution, gaps reported explicitly, closures cross-referenced. The Document ID and digest are registered and checkable by anyone at floorkept.com/verify.

Who is trained on what, on one board

People down one side, training topics across the top, one ring per cell showing how far along somebody is. A colleague signs off each item as they watch it done, renewals count down from the date it was completed, and anyone a topic does not apply to is marked so rather than left looking overdue. Expiring shows up 30 days out, not on the day it lapses.

The Telure Standards for a martial arts studio

A Telure-curated list of recurring inspections and reviews. In the product it works as an alignment tracker: you turn it on, match the work you already run to the clauses it covers, and record a reason for any clause that does not apply here. Turning it on adds no tasks, and it is not a certification. The manufacturer’s manual governs all equipment intervals.
