Telure for a weight room · $199/mo
Cable fraying, dated per machine
Cable and pulley fraying on selectorized machines is the classic gym inspection item, and at most independent clubs it has no dated record at all. Telure gives a club per-machine, per-person, tamper-evident records of inspections, manufacturer-schedule service, and out-of-service calls, without an enterprise maintenance deployment.
The demo is a full fictional facility, Flatwater Fitness Club, with a year of records. No account needed.
Day to day
The walk-sheet on the office clipboard and the service-due spreadsheet behind it both disappear: floor staff open the circuit from a QR on any phone, PIN to sign, and every finding files itself against the machine it belongs to. Manufacturer service intervals surface on their own, with reminders and overdue escalation instead of a manager keeping a calendar alive.
When a claim surfaces
When a cable lets go, the first question is when that cable was last inspected and by whom. Telure answers with a dated, per-machine series (every check timestamped and attributed) on an append-only hash chain where corrections appear as visible amendments, and logging an incident freezes that area's history at that moment.
At renewal
At renewal, most clubs describe their maintenance in a paragraph and hope. You hand over a dated, verifiable PDF for the period instead (per-item attribution, adherence and gaps stated honestly, a digest anyone can check at floorkept.com/verify), and a documented recurring-inspection program can factor favorably into underwriting.
What you get, running a weight room
Manufacturer service intervals, actually tracked
Set each machine's preventive-maintenance intervals straight from its manual: belt and deck service, cable replacement, lubrication. Telure surfaces what's due, and every completion is a dated, attributed event on that machine's history.
Treadmill belts and decks on the record
Belt tracking and edge wear, deck condition, and emergency-stop function become recurring recorded checks per unit: a dated series on the equipment most likely to put a member on the floor.
Recalls checked against your serials
Cardio equipment is one of the most recall-active product categories there is. Public recall data is polled daily and compared against your registered fleet (serial ranges included), and a match opens a documented response flow.
Records that cannot be quietly edited
Chain-oriented maintenance platforms keep editable records. Telure entries are immutable once submitted (enforced by the database, not policy) and hash-chained so alteration is detectable. Corrections appear as visible amendments.
Out-of-service with names attached
Tagging a machine out is a recorded event: who pulled it, why, and who returned it to service. A flagged item opens a corrective-action loop: photo attached, tracked to resolution, linked to the ledger.
The proof packet, on demand
A dated, paginated PDF for any period: per-item attribution, adherence and gaps reported explicitly, closures cross-referenced, and integrity verification printed on the cover, checkable by anyone at floorkept.com/verify.
An incident freezes its history
Logging an incident writes a hash-locked snapshot of the prior 90 days of inspection history for that area into the incident itself: exactly which records existed at that moment, provable years later.
Sized and priced for an independent club
No implementation project, no per-seat enterprise contract. Floor staff pick their name, walk the check from a QR on any phone, and PIN to sign. Learned in minutes.
Who is trained on what, on one board
People down one side, training topics across the top, one ring per cell showing how far along somebody is. A colleague signs off each item as they watch it done, renewals count down from the date it was completed, and anyone a topic does not apply to is marked so rather than left looking overdue. Expiring shows up 30 days out, not on the day it lapses.
The Telure Standards for a weight room
A Telure-curated list of recurring inspections and reviews. In the product it works as an alignment tracker: you turn it on, match the work you already run to the clauses it covers, and record a reason for any clause that does not apply here. Turning it on adds no tasks, and it is not a certification. The manufacturer’s manual governs all equipment intervals.
