For campus recreation

One department, several surfaces, one record.

A recreation department answers for more inspectable surface than any single commercial facility on this site, on a departmental budget rather than an owner’s wallet. Telure records that the work was done on each of them, in one ledger, exportable as one document.

What a department usually runs

  • Aquatic centre
  • Climbing wall
  • Fitness floor
  • Courts and gymnasium
  • Intramural fields
  • Outdoor equipment rental

What it costs

Most departments land between $550 and $750 a month.

Price follows the Telure Standard packs you actually run, not the building and not the number of staff. A department is one site: one physical address under one operating staff. The pack you anchor on is at list, and every additional pack on that site is $99 more. An aquatic centre, a climbing wall, a fitness floor and a gymnasium comes to $596 a month.

Unlimited staff accounts either way. Nothing is metered, and no part of the record is behind a pack: a pack adds a Standard to track against, never permission to keep or export what you recorded.

A community college or a small private campus running one or two surfaces starts at $199 a month and signs up without talking to anybody.

Why the standard of care argument is different here

Campus facility use is generally covered by an assumption-of-risk agreement, and public institutions have immunity arguments on top. What those do not cover is a documented pattern of skipped inspections, and athletics is not protected the way general facility use is. There are also few published operational benchmarks in campus recreation, which means a department’s own documented practice is a large part of what a court would compare against.

Telure does not resolve any of that. It records what was inspected, by whom, and when, in a form that cannot be quietly edited afterwards, so the question of what you actually did has an answer that does not depend on anyone’s memory.

See it with a department’s data in it

Calder State University Recreation Center is a fictional department with a lived-in record: months of walks, a few flags, an incident and its manifest. Everything works and nothing you do reaches anyone else.
